Mandrem Beach In Goa
Mandrem is a seaside village and a famous tourist spot in Pernem taluka of North Goa. The village is 30 kilometres from the state capital Panaji. The beach is located about 1 km west of Mandrem village. The white-sand Mandrem Beach in Goa actually comprises two beaches Junas Beach and Ashvem Beach. The beautiful Mandrem Beach is located between Arambol and Ashwem. Arambol Beach, popular among backpackers, lies north of Mandrem.
While Ashwem Beach, where Olive Ridley Turtles roam around, is located south of Mandrem Beach in Goa. A narrow rocky cliff reaching out into the sea separates Mandrem Beach and Arambol Beach. The Mandrem River runs parallel to the beach for about a hundred metres.
Mandrem Beach is worth visiting during the “High Tide” as the waves rush into the Mandrem Creek or River. As per places near Mandrem Beach worthy of a visit, there is a Portuguese Fort which is now a luxury hotel. Ashta Yoga Valley is a popular health centre which offers certified yoga lessons of 200 hours and 500 hours. One can enrol here for shorter and longer duration courses of their choice.

How To Reach Mandrem Beach
Mandrem Beach is located just west of Mandrem village in North Goa. Located about 30 km from Panaji, the state capital of Goa, the beach is accessible by road from Mandrem village. To travel from Mandrem Beach to Goa Airport, there are taxis and bikes available for rent. Those wondering how to reach Mandrem Beach from Panaji, first board a bus to Mapusa town from Kadamba Bus Terminus (KTC Bus Stand) at Panaji. Then from Mapusa, board another bus that takes travellers to Mandrem village. One can simply walk from the village towards sea to Mandrem Beach.
Buses leave from Pernem every day via Arambol to Panaji. Arambol is the last stop of these buses. The taxi fare from Arambol to Mandrem is up to INR 200. The nearest airport from Mandrem Beach is Goa International Airport. The airport is about 51 km south of the village via NH 66. The nearest railhead from Mandrem Beach is Thivin Railway Station. It is located 21 km east of the beach via Mapusa-Bicholim Road. One can hire a taxi from Thivim Station to reach Mandrem Beach
